Jacksonville Theological Seminary (JTS) & Revelation Message Bible College (RMBC) are separately registered with the Commission for Independent Education of the Florida Department of Education.
JTS & RMBC are separately accredited with Accrediting Commission International, Inc. ACI is not affiliated with any governmental accrediting agency and is solely committed to Christian education.
JTS is also affiliated with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC.) As a result, JTS graduates have the opportunity to become members with AACC which has become the leading organization for professional, pastoral and lay counselors.
The purpose of accreditation is to:
Certify that an institution has met the established standards of excellence;
Assist prospective students in identifying reputable institutions, which offer degree programs that will meet their needs and goals;
Allow institutions to evaluate the acceptability of transfer credits into their own curricula programs.
Credits and degrees earned from colleges in the State of Florida which are authorized by the State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities do not qualify the holder for a state teaching certification, nor do they qualify him or her to participate in professional licensing examinations. Any person interested in obtaining a state teaching certificate or practicing a regulated profession should contact the appropriate regulatory agency in the field of his interest.
Transferability of credits earned at Jacksonville Theological Seminary and/or Revelation Message Bible College and transferred to another institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution.
